PHotoEspaña presents Latin Fire, an exhibition and book that cull a selection of images from the Anna Gamazo de Abelló Collection, one of the most prominent European collections of Latin American photography. Through a look at more than 60 artists from eight countries, Latin Fire surveys little–known facets of Latin American photography. Beyond striving to pinpoint local trends or regional standardisations, the show sheds light on common features that can be found in the most burning topics in the region in a period of great political and social upheaval, the second half of the 20th century.
